Overview

What is MOHCD’s Fiscal Foundations?

Fiscal Foundations is a pilot program of the Mayor’s Office of Housing and Community Development (MOHCD). Starting in February 2018, the program will make nonprofit fiscal management consulting services, training workshops and a support hotline available to current MOHCD grantees at no cost.

How Does it Work?

Capacity building services will be provided by FMA (Fiscal Management Associates, LLC), an independent consulting firm that equips nonprofit leaders with the tools to monitor and manage financial performance. MOHCD grantees can access consulting services through a rolling application process, while the workshops and hotline can be utilized on a first-come, first-served basis.

How Can My Organization Apply?

Consulting applications and workshop offerings are available on this website. To utilize the support hotline, call 415.997.3293 or email [email protected] to reach a dedicated FMA consultant. The hotline may be especially useful in answering questions related to the City’s annual fiscal monitoring program.
